Getting here

We may be far away, but we are surprisingly easy to get to! We are on the mainland, 100 miles north of Inverness.

Noss Head is one of the few lighthouses you can visit without a car (Wick Airport is just 5 miles away by car or on foot). If you are a cyclist,  you can bring your bike on the train to Wick. From London, you can come to Inverness by sleeper or on a direct flight and come on to Wick by train or car.

We have ample parking if you come here by car:  click here for directions.

By air to Inverness or Wick:

Take a direct flight to Inverness airport from London or one of several English regional airports and hire a car for the 100 miles up to Wick, or do the last stretch by train on the Far North Line.

On weekdays or Sundays you can fly to Wick from Edinburgh and Aberdeen. Remember to book a taxi or hire a car.
